ABOUT US

A.T. Out West is a collaboration between three qualified practitioners, passionate about sharing the benefits of the Alexander Technique to their communities.

Susan | A.T. Out West

Susan Renkert

Susan holds a Masters in Public Health; she is a graduate of Sydney Alexander Technique and is a qualified Personal Trainer.

She found the Alexander Technique addressed her own chronic pain, after inconsistent progress with other modalities.

Susan has a special interest in modern pain science and teaches private lessons in the Upper Blue Mountains where she lives.

Erin | A.T. Out West

Erin Poga

Erin is an Occupational Therapist working in community aged care and graduate of Sydney Alexander Technique.

A mother of two small boys, Erin became interested in the Alexander Technique after years of “bad posture”, that constant reminders from herself and others to “stand up straight” couldn’t fix.

Through discovering the AT, Erin realised a shift in thinking & self kindness could address her postural issues and she hasn’t looked back.

Elissa | A.T. Out West

Elissa Jones

Elissa is a trombonist, early childhood music teacher and Alexander Technique teacher based in Bathurst.

Elissa began her career as an agronomist before completing a doctorate in plant pathology. Along the way she maintained music as a passion before making it her career.

Elissa has taught trombone and early child music classes in Bathurst and Orange for decades, including at preschools, day care centres and the Mitchell Conservatorium.

Elissa offers individual Alexander Technique lessons and a small group Alexander class at Mitchell Conservatorium in Bathurst.
